Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs: Real-World Opportunities for Teen Innovators
Friday June 13, 2025 1:00pm - 1:50pm MDT
Join Teen Entrepreneur Association members Geary Page and Carson Cook as they share over five years of experience in creating opportunities that inspire and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Discover how after-school programs, leveraged with both local and national resources, are creating pathways for young business leaders to thrive.

This session will cover
1. Pop-Up Markets that give students hands-on experience in selling products (good, services, or innovative ideas) and building real-world skills that go beyond the classroom.
2. How to create meaningful internship opportunities that not only benefit aspiring entrepreneurs but also provide hands-on learning and internship opportunities for students from other CTE pathways who want to gain experience working with teen-led businesses.
3. Communicating with mayors and chambers of commerce. Learn what to ask for, how to effectively communicate the needs of students and schools, and how to bridge the gap between educational perspectives and community/business mindsets.

Whether you're an educator, community leader, or industry professional, this session will provide practical insights and proven strategies to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in teens and help them build sustainable business ventures.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see how real-world experiences can empower students to become the business leaders of tomorrow!
